Hi all, i am atlong last inline to sort a decent size tank, know, i have room for a 9x3x3 which i can start to make within the next few weeks, and later in a year i am going to build, well hopefullly build a 10x6x3, but i cant decide if to either just buy a 8x2x2 and not the have the 9x3x3, as the 8x2x2 will a glass built tank, but a smaller tank, then build the bigger one (10x6x3) later as this will be in the conservatory which i will be extending for the tank and filter room.
I would be keeping rays , Aro`s, P bass etc, would love another RTCxTSN, but then its one tank for him and nothing else, but wouldnt that just be nice:D

Catfish aside, if i got the 8x2x2 with a couple of rays, hysterix or similar small ray and an aro plus 3 P bass they wouldnt last that long before they needed the ****** tank, could take 18 months to sort out, so in a way SWMBO can have the small fish community tank in it and i will hav eto wait for the ray etc tank.

But SWMBO wants a small fish community tank setup in the 9x3x3 ( 8x2x2 ) with hundreds of small fish, some women LOL

I should just think mysel lucky SWMBO has agreed to this, although it has cost me fitting her a new kitchen to get it LOL

wayne:D

I would buy the 8 x 2 x 2 (240 gallon ?) now if you can.
Then after you build your monster tank, let the wife have the purchased one.

Although there's a problem. Most DIY stuff takes much longer than planned. If you buy some monsters now for the 240 gallon, depending on how fast they grow, you are going to be under pressure to get the big tank done.
