My dad finaly gave in and I am getting a 300 gallon tank on Wednesday:headbang2 it is acrylic and it has minor scratches but probably nothing a little buffering can't fix! But it was either a $400 300 gallon tank or a $1,000 220 gallon fx5 combo. And when he said I can get the 300 I said "YEA BOIIII!!!!"

get 20 RBPs and feed them your enemies! you'll be just like a james bond villan!:evil_lol:

on second thought, fish fillets would be more appropriate... but not as fun.

 Nooo save your next request for the piranha idea....a 750 gallon pond! :WHOA:

Anyhoo i recon either a nice Asian arowana and some tinfoil barbs, or a nice silver arowana and some redhook silver dollars would make a fantastic display!

What’s your stocking plans? And what filtration you going to have hooked up?

let's not forget that the keeping of asian aros in the U.S. is illegal.

I think a single silver aro would be your best bet. you could fit some bottom feeders in with it, but IMO a full grown, 3' silver will take up all your bioload.
