I was going to buy an imperial pueblan with m,y own money but then I find out my moms got a phobia on snakes. Ill try to find a way to get one. Theres always away. Ill let you know if I ever get one

My mom didn't want me to get one.
We were at a flea market and I was about to buy a machete with cash money, I told my mom I wouldn't if she let me get the snake. so now I have a ball python

I had a similar problem where my dad promised that he would let me get a snake but then his girlfriend (now my step mom) moved in. She is deathly afraid of spiders and snakes. I think to spite her I kept a ball python, an amazon tree boa, a pine snake and a gopher snake all in secret. Just get a heating pad and some of those under the bed storage containers and modify them with a screen top and secure it so nothing escapes.
That is how I kept the terrestrial snakes but the ATB was a little different. I found a plastic plant that was a red orange color that matched the snake perfectly. I would also go out and catch anoles from my yard and throw them in the tank as well. If she ever got curious and looked around she would see the lizards and not the ATB since it was so good at hiding in that plant.
I would like to say that while hiding all of these snakes, they were all perfectly cared for and in very good health. You just have to get creative while still living with your parents.

shoulda got the machete.
oh, just be sure not to get kicked out of the house... otherwise, it is worth it. You should have seen her face when she started helping me pack for college.... priceless.
