cant get an answer, what is this???????

i cant seem to get an answer to what this is on my fishs fin, it was really really swollen hes been on tetracyclene and all the swelling has gone away, but what are the black and white dot thing, please help, i have no idea what it is, and i keep getting "i have no idea" answers from everyone i ask, my water is perfect, 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 10 ppm nitrate i have no idea what it is, please help. and yes, i know hes got a small case of HITH, he came that way from the LFS, he was only 5 bucks but now im thinking i should have left him, anyway, help

are you treating him with anything? It looks bacterial, but could another fish have bitten him?

The black part indicates healing to me. It does not look concerning to me.

yeah, treating him with tetracyclene, which is working, it was really swolen a few days ago, anyone know how long i should wait to put him back in the main tank? and thanks by the way, i was wondering if it was just healing

Until the wound completely heals. Don't return him to the main tank yet.
