sometime fish dont pair off, cant make them get the hots for each other lol... maybe try another female or male? also are all females fertile, i know some male fh arnt?

Keep a tight feeding and maintenance schedule on them for a while. Do twice a week 25% water changes and when you fill the tank back up use colder water.

:iagree:

Power feed with frequent w/c's and if there fertile its just a matter of time.

I stick to 2 50% water changes weekly. It's just the pair in a 120 gallon. The water I put back in is around 4 degrees cooler than tank water. And I to was also thinking I might need another female

Im having the same problem, the pair has been together for almost a month without any divider, the male isn't aggresive with her but she doesn't want to lay, im also thinking in searching another female....

Live food like earthworms and blackworms have been known to help cichlids and other fish spawn, might want to give that a shot
