I want to have a 55gal tank... but any plants would just die after a week... I don't know why... I almost did all... I kept the lights 20hrs a day, I also put co2, put fertilizer...
I only have 2 sen bichir in my tank...

What else can I do...

I have a 55gals completely cycled, I have 1 big driftwood, I have 2 sen. bihcir, 0 amonia/ nitrate/nitrite, fine sand as a substrate, white florescent as my light...

What are the plants? You might be planting non-aquatic plants. Need more details.

Whats the Substrate? What type of lights? (k rating and watts) T5, T8, T12 PC?

How do you put Co2? Injection?DIY? come on man, throw me a bone!!!

I kept the lights 20hrs a day

/facepalm.

Can't give advice without knowing the specifics, but I'll tell you right now, that was the biggest cause of your problems. Excess light is the #1 cause of planted tank failure.

7 hours of light, and this is what I got:

I agree, 20 hrs is way to much, 12 hours should be to maximum and even that can be a bit high, 8 hours it usually good.

jcardona1, your tank is Beautiful, not only that but you have my favorite fish in there too, Roseline Sharks, how many gallons is that?

But yeah we need details.
