man, i'm not sure about this one. i think some things just can't be redone. not sure if this one will do justice to the stooges

Im with you on this Sumo, I liked the series, but those were 20 min skits, I don't know if this will be funny for 90 mins, part of what I liked about watching the original series was seeing America in the 40s.
in 95, i visit my brother in philly, he worked at a restuarant called Jon's Bar & Grill that was supposedly the building where the original Larry was born in. they had pictures of him all over one of the walls

I used to love the Stooges as a kid and I still enjoy them every now and then,not to sure about this remake though....Sumo does your brother still live/work in this area?
and they just had to put her in it somewhere....guess she is supposed to help the movie's chances at the box office?
no, it's been years. he moved out to reading for a few years, now he's in minnesota after him and his wife seperated. you know that area? that corner was a busy spot. they have great cheese steaks from what i remember. i washed dishes, did some food prepping and bussed tables there. it was a good experience. when my brother worked there, he lived in north philly. at times i had to take the bus from jon's bar to my brother's house, it would take like an hour to get home on the bus because of the frequent stops. the bus took 2nd street all the way north
this was in 95 so i'm going off vague memory
