Is Captain America a SuperHero? He doesn't have any true superpowers. I have to wonder about times when all the superheroes are gathered together, do they secretly snicker at Captain America? And pretty much the same with Batman. Are either of these guys real SuperHeroes or wannabes?

Hes got supper strenth. heals ten times faster then a normal person. and he has a shield if that dont make a hero nothing does lol

o and he cant get drunk. be hell at the bar

All superhero movies are lame and played out. They should of stuck with a few and that's it. But it seems all they do these days is release superhero/comic book movies, 80s cartoons made into movies, videogame movies, and remake of classics. And the stupid thing is people keep continuing to go see them.

LOL I agree it's being way overdone. Some of them aren't even Superheroes....just wannabes.

He doesn't have super strenth, he's like twice as strong as an Olympic gymnyst. Superman and Wonder Woman have super strength.

Everytime I see a preview on TV about a new superhero movie I jsut shake my head. It seems like they are gonna keep going down the line till all the superhero/comic book characters are used up. After that I don't know what the hell they are gonna do. Now they are moving on to 80s cartoons and completely doing them the opposite of how they are supposed to be. Same with all the remakes. What happens is, they take a classic movie that had success, and remake it but try to make it a story/movie of their own. Then why even call it __________? They just wanna milk the fans. I don't know why people don't see through this and decide to boycott or not even bother going to the movies. They been producing garbage for years. The only thing going for movie making these days is all the technology and special effects they have. They can take a lame movie and make it visually pleasing and people go see it. Movies just aren't like they used to be. Movies are good when there is a good story, good actors, originality/creativity good plot etc.

I don't mind Captain America, Wiki shows he can bench 1,200 lbs. Batman irks me he has no powers but there is about 7 movies out

The record bench press is like 1075 lbs so 1200 isn't super strength, just extremely strong. Batman could do what....half that?

And the movies don't have good plots, it seems they're just made to look good so they can sell tons of action figures and lunch boxes to kids. Well what about us grown up kids???

I haven't seen the new movie but in the comic books Captain America was injected with the super solider serum during WW2 (I believe it was WW2) that gave him super strength, agility, and all that good stuff, so he certainly wasn't an average joe like Batman. Also the same super solider serum used on Black Cat, ie: Felicia Harding from Spider-Man.

Don't you think it's MORE impressive with a superhero like batman that his abilities are due to training? Superman is a chump, he didn't do anything special to acquire his powers, he was just born with them.
