Capturing a Channel...

How would go through with this? He's about 9 inches inside of a 1000 gallon pond, 3.5 feet deep. Top half of the pond is a larger oval but the bottom half is smaller rectangle. I was wondering how I could get him out easily because every time I try, he evades all of my netting attempts.

when I first try to catch my fish out of the tank, I didn't do very good at it! Now after more than 10 years of experience, I can catch my 3'' albino channel cat out of my 900G with bare hands!
