Caquetaia myersi: A Jewel from Columbia

Here's a look at one of my Caquetaia myersi, a very unique looking and behaving cichlid from Columbia, South America, with a personality all its own. It's presently about 8" and is about 20 months of age.

I really like Myersi. The blue fins & red eye make a good contrast - I like red eyed fish in general, makes them look mean. I also like that strong center bar - it always reminds me of heckel discus.

A member posted a thread about his monster Myersi in the media section a a week or two ago...that fish is a show stopper.
