Caquetaia myersi showing some funky colors. . . .

My C. myersi started showing a little bit of reds on their heads a few weeks after I got them, now it is spreading across their whole heads and down their backs. The last ones I had didn't go through this, just from gray to yellow. Think it might be a collection thing? Either way, I'm loving it!

These are some older pics, the red has much more coverage now and is much redder. So cool looking.

I've seen some C. myersi with a little read in the gill/throat area before ... but nothing like this. Just wow.

Very nice! Both of my female Myersi showed some brown on their face when they young but not nearly as much or as red as on your fish. Thats cool looking!

Thanks for the replies everyone. They are continuing to get redder. Its the oddest thing. Perhaps it will start to change color as they get more size?
