I bought 6 Caquetaia spectabilis cichlids from Jeff Rapps, and grew them up in my 90 gallon aquarium. After I got a breeding pair, I gave the other 4 to the Newport Aquarium in Kentucky, which is right across the river from Cincinnati. Those of you going to the ACA Convention in Cincinnati this summer, be sure to check out the Newport Aquarium, and wave hi to my old fish. BTW, I plan to attend the convention in a big way, I took vacation that week and only live an hour away. I'll stay at the hotel there.
I donated the cichlids in July 2008, this video was taken a few month later around October 30th. They put on some size and got chunkified in that short amount of time.
