Hows it going out there, i got a subwoofer question,, ive got 2 soundstream 15'' 700wt subs and i want to put them in a bazooka basstube one on each side(both on the same tube) now i know for a fact that they would fit perfectly into the tube ,with about 4-6'' of space in between the sub's, but what i need to know is if it would be ok and would i get a good sound out of it:confused::confused:, thanx for any help u guys can give:headbang2

If you think about it it would pretty much just be a sealed box. No difference except its a tube and not a standard box. The more space you have though the better it will sound. I my self like ported boxes or bandpass simply because the subs aren't fighting for the same air space and pushing on each other.

This is my opinion take it as you want.

It won't work right. I never liked putting two subs into a single sealed enclosure. Each sub should have it's own box/enclosure to sound right and work at it's peak.

Bazooka tubes are only enough cubic feet for one sub. Also, firing in opposite direstions will have a negative impact on the ability to produce clean sound for you.

yep...it won't work. If 1 speaker at one end and 1 at the other, it will cancel out each other in the tube. and will not sound to good.

What kind of car you going to put the speakers in?

Like everyone else said get a ported box or one in tube.....add a mono block amp and your set.

Depends on the car if you should get ported, non ported, or a band pass.

i prefore non ported for most of what i listen to, but i do agree not to put them both in the same tube. do a search on the subs and try to find the recomended cu ft for them, and go off that if possible.

been installing caraudio for almost 12 years and ill tell you right now to guy buy new subs cause yours will be garbage after you try that
