Car & bmx guys I need some help.

I'm taking my bmx bike apart for the winter because I need to swap out the bearings in my crank and wheel hubs. I've been kicking around the idea of painting it. Knowing me I would paint it red and black but I want something different. Something unique. I don't really do tricks any more so now I use the bike to exercise.

The bearings aren't that hard to do on most of them. Most good kits provide simple instructions.

I've always loved the black and red styling or yellow and black pops too. I have airbrushes so I'd do something custom. Buy good automotive clear coat for the best results. Using several thin coats as opposed to one or two thick coats is the best tip I can give.

I know that the bearings aren't hard to change lol. It would probably take a day or so for me to do all at once. But I don't have the parts now and I also want to completely take it apart if I paint it.

Ugh yeah. Car guys can give me ideas on what colors or schemes to paint it. I mean they do customize their cars right?
