I just bought a full set of 18" rims with tires for $100 to put on my altima, but one has been curbed really bad. Apparently the chrome lip is remove able ( who knew) but I contacted the company that makes the rims Nd they said they do not make the replacement chrome lips. A new rim will set me back $204+ tax. Is there any company you all know of that could fix my existing lip? ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1399676514.631883.jpg

Probably one of those companies that fix bent rims. They advertise in car magazines and unless one of the shops are near you you'll have to ship the lip to them. The price might be near or over the one that you mentioned.

I'm going to try and fix it myself first, I'm not paying $150-$300 to fix aluminum lip lol I'd just rather
A.) Buy a New rim
B.) take all the lips off all of them and sand the glue off and run them with a black lip

I don't blame you, let's see what the rims look like.

You might want to look into to misc shops that sell used rims. Who knows...you may find a match to yours for cheap.

May as well replace the whole thing. Are you sure the rim isn't bent also? That was a hard hit. Hate to fix the lip only to find the rim is bent too. That lip looks like it should just be replaced.

I'd do some searching used (Ebay, Craigslist, local car forums, etc...). "Beauty rings" like that were pretty easy to come by a few years ago.
Post pics of the wheels. I'd be nervous about the actual rim seeing the damage to the ring.

These are what the rims look like. And the rim itself is not bent anywhere I checked it. The company emailed me back and said they don't make replacements that basically is have to order a new rim

There are more than likely after market kits for those. Given where the lip sits I'd say the rim is fine but the tire was done. I've seen the same or similar rims in my area and they did have custom parts to accent the rims. Share what the make and model is someone here might be able to help. The other option assuming the lip isn't torn you could gently hammer it out using a dent kit (metal forms with various contours) then paint and polish them. It's a lot of work but it's way cheaper. If you get a new rim it will look out of place.
