anyone in socal knows about car wiring? basically my tail lights went out but i know it's not the bulb... the rear light signal on my driver's dash is on and the lights won't come on. the brake lights are fine, so that's not an issue. i'm thinking there's a loose wire somewhere that's not making the lights come. anyone who is an expert in this and is willing to help a bro out for some cash please let me know.

i am next to south coast plaza in costa mesa.

thanks.

Have you checked the fuse? Could have gone out.

Take a flash light and look at your light socket carefully.make sure the wire or contacts are not melted

Check the fuse box. Then check the leads on the bulb connectors. If not those, check to see if any of the wires are crimped or pinched or if a connection on any of the harnesses in the trunk are loose or separated.

Just take your time and have patience....youll find your problem

Worse case scenario, pull all the bulbs out and take out your rear taillight (maybe unnecessary) and extra stuff in the trunk (ie carpet lining and personal belongings) It will make searching alot easier and with much more space and more light exposure.
