I am considering getting this cool knife fish. Please share some of your experiences and pictures if you have them. What were your parameters, food, tank mates if possible etc???

4x2x2 is good for a solo fish. Will need soft slight acidic water. Dim lighting. Mainly nocturnal. Will come out and eat in the light but keep dimly lit. Place to hide needed. Will take worms and smaller cut pieces of fish/shrimp.
Can get another knife but will need more hiding places and a bigger tank. Suggest no other tankmates. If too small will get nipped on and if too aggressive then the knife gets stressed. Some stressed knives have been known not to eat and die from aggressive tankmates that also includes other knives.
Mine was solo and about 14-16 inches.

The 1st 2 days I had him he hid and whenever anything came close to his hide he shot out after them and by day 3 he was cruising the tank going after the others so he got his own tank. I primarily fed nightcrawlers and tilapia
