it probably got about 12-18 inches. it was very hard to see because it was in a large tank full of geos and wood, and hid a lot. i wish i had pics!

Have one in my rescue "pond".

Abut 12", aggressive little bugger, but an amazing Knife.

your pond is great!! that is a good idea, using that baby pool for a pond. what kind of heater and filtration?
