Hey all
Nearly finished setting up and cycling a new big tank for a freshwater stingray
ive prepped the sump etc
It may be a silly question but is there any harm running carbon with a stingray?

Cant see why not just wondering if there are any other requirements or what not

None that I can recall hearing or reading.I can attest to the fact that rays require topnotch filtration and pristine water in order for them to stay in the best condition. How many rays do you plan on keeping and what is your filter set up?

i have a 5 foot sump set up. ill post some pics once completed.
just the 1 ray

No harm but I don’t see a need to run it unless your trying to get medication or something out of the water. I use carbon filters for my Drip system on my ray tanks but other then that no need.
