We're having water shortage here:(
the water is delivered to our place , i'm a little worried regarding the water delivered, will a carbon filter make the water safer before entering our fish tank?
i'm not worried about chlorine/chloramine, but other contaminants. will carbon flter help?

I would use a carbon filter followed by a micron filter.

carbon will help abit... you still micron filter... or better an RO filter.. :)

Neo, isn't using pure RO water for a fish tank bad? It removes all of the minerals in the water and messes with osmotic balance.
