So I've got a bit of a problem. I think

Some of the loose carbon that's in my filter has made its way past the batting and into my tank. I'm wondering if

a)this could harm my fish?

b) Any ideas how to get it out without getting all the sand and moving my whole tank decor around?

I was just worried about them eating too. I'm hoping someone has an idea other than picking them up one by one. But if that's how it's got to be well then I'll get picking

just use your gravel vac....

I would but it's broke so it just consists of a 1/4 hose right now plus the sand goes with all the carbon

man i recommend the gravel vac to you dont want your fish eating the carbon dont know if it may harm them but still why take chances

Siphon it out, separate it from the sand (you figure it out)
and put the sand back in.

Or don't worry about it, your fish aren't going to eat it.

Ya, the loach seems to play with them a bit but other than that pays no interest in it.
I think I'll net it then if I get some sand in it I can just pick out the bits and dump the sand back in.
