Wahoo! You are so lucky. Most people troll for them but a supposedly fun way is to chum them to the boat with fresh, whole, dead anchovies (or mackerel, other oily baitfish) then cast to them with whole Ballyhoo, Poppers, Jigs, etc. Use a wire leader and stay away from the mouth. The teeth are very sharp. When releasing a fish, grab it bu the tail and use pliars. Great fish, I want to go for them one day. Kindof like 1/2 Mackerel 1/2 Tuna. I know Tunas are Macks but I mean elongated ones.
I read abou that in "Crazy Fishing Stories" or something like that. It was asically a party boat that went for Wahook. They go out in the middle of the ocean and start dumping anchovies and chum overboard. Then Tuna, Billfish, Wahoo and Dorado come like a Cat to a litterbox. This guy cast a Wahoo jig and his line went slack. He thought a Wahoo bit thru the leader but it was racing towards the boat. It jumped...
