I will be ordering caribe piranhas soon. first time witha shoal of something other than red bellied piranhas. I would like to know what size tink for lets say 3 to 5 of them. and is there anything else to know about them. are they to be taken care of just like reds? probably getting tank tomarow.

20 per P min. 60g for 3 etc..same thing as red bellies..no different..but i think caribe's are lil more aggressive..if im not mistaken

I have never kept caribes, but from what I have heard they are very similar to keeping reds, I think 5 or more would be better for a shoal....

i would get a 125,or even a little bigger if you can. caribe love to eat eachother, make sure you have a strong powerhead in there too. they are a very cool piranha.

with 75g I would start with 4-5, even if they all live to adulthood they would still do ok in 75g given that the filtration can keep up with the bio load.

agreed

start of with at least a half dozen!! after then get over 7 inches, think about downsizing the shoal of getting a larger tank
