Howdy,

Thinking about substrates for my 220. 3M colorquartz dealers are nowhere around. Poolfiltersand is my back-up option. I want to create a corner with Echinodorus growth, covered with rocks to prevent uprooting.

Is anyone using Eco-CompletePlanted sand by CaribSea (HERE) in their ray tanks?

Thanks,
HarleyK

I used for about 6months or so.But now I'm just using gravel with laterite mixed in.

That's not too long ... what made you switch it out?

I put it in flowerpots... for my ray tank.... its a lil to course for my liking and the rays really can't get to them to uproot it....
