Ive been strongly considering getting a ceja for over a year now . A lfs has 3 of the type I like.does any body keep these rays ? I know they are the most difficult rays to keep. Any basics would be appreciated . Anybody ever get them trained on mp or smelt

you probably already know this, but I have been told that they are abush hunters only... meaning it is very rare to get them off of live food.
I hear they are very easy to keep as long as u have a huge tank and dont mind feeding live fish. They are very calm and stay to themselves so a highly populated comm tank is a no no

There is one kept at a pet store south of you in Medicine Hat which is fed pellets. Allways wanted one but have been scared at how big it would get.
Well I constructed a pond with a footprint that could house a ceja for many many years. I do have future plans to form a monster tank out of concrete but not for a few years.I may just let these rays sit in the shop for a while longer. They have been their for a month already and have probably been eating live minnows at night.
I have a free source of live crayfish that I bet a ceja could not resist . Once I get the pond flowing I'm probably buying one.
