I Just caught a large mouth bass a few days ago, and put him in the 125 with my red breast sunfish. He's probably about 15 inches or so. Not a bad sized fish. Very cool for sure. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for keeping one. I haven't gotten him to eat yet, which doesn't surprise me considering he is wild, but I am open to suggestions. Everything I try to feed him get's debo'd by the red breast. The red breast is a river caught fish which means he is far more intense about feeding than the bass. I can always put the red breast in my 55 which is empty right now, but would rather keep them together cause they look pretty cool in the same tank.

I would recommend collecting lots of minnows (you may have to feed enough to fill up the red breast so the bass a chance). He will likely eat them once he gets acclimated. Once that happens you will have to try and get food to the red breast! Good luck

That fish is almost too big for that tank already...my suggestion is to do a little research and planning next time BEFORE you get the fish...
