I am looking into getting a Carinotetraodon salivator for a 10 gallon tank. Would one be happy? Could a pair live in here? I have read they grow to 5 cm and would be ok in a pair. Thanks. All will be appreciated!

Pairs work well together but it is recommended 10ea.

So 1 in a 10 gallon? I think I might change species then =P Is there any species that could be kept in a pair in a 10 gallon for life? I am willing to go brackish possibly SW but fresh is what I want to keep. Thanks!

The only puffer you could keep as more than 1 in a 10g is the dwarf. 2 f-1 male or 3f.

What would be the most colourful? What would have most personality? If I can get any of the red-eyes I think I will keep one. Any tankmates? I am guessing not but it is worth a try =P

10g is the minimun to keep a single Carinotetraodon species in (other than the DP). If you wanted any tank mates, you'd have to go bigger. You could make a very nice planted envirnment for a singleton in there.

I think a singleton is what I will get =P I will plant it..I was planning on 1 or 2 ottos but I will leave it and search for any red eye. Thanks Pufferpunk.

Also anything on the bronze puffer? They are a good bit larger so I am guessing a bigger tank would be necessary. Also it is UK gallons.

Also anything on t.duboisi? I read they are very exspensive and rare..What price would they usually go for? Ect..Thanks!

if I do manage to get one of the puffers, what would I feed them? Also anyone know anything about t.duboisi??? Thanks!
