I read on a lot of web sites about pseudocanthicas species. That these plecos require some veggies in their diet. So that is is balanced. Well I had a L-160 for about ten years (spiny monster pleco). I now have a seven inch scarlet that I only feed Ocean Nutrition's brine shrimp formula. The L-160 also got these flakes and did well for ten years. I sold him when I aquired the L-25. These two plecs would not touch any vegetable matter. Any one else with any pseudos have this promblem. I know they are carnivores so maybe this is why. Also will the L-25 be alright without the veggies. Thanks in advance.
