Carnivores and fish tuberculosis

Without any knowledge on the subject I would guess that carnivore fish are immune to fish TB. Fish TB (marine and freshwater types) are the most wide-spread diseases in the aquatic kingdoms... Therefore, carnivore fish must eat them constantly.

So my idea would be to put one of my polypterus in my giant guppy tank that has had TB for a year now. Conceivably he could eat them all without problems.

Thoughts, opinions and experiences are welcome.

i wouldnt put it in with the guppies

tb isnt just in the fish, its in the water too.
 
I would not risk it, or risk keeping the infected fish for that matter.
