Carnivorous koi?

I didn't know where to post this, but my koi's diet has changed dramatically. When I first got him, he only ate pellets and flakes, then he started eating pieces of shrimp. Today, he somehow managed to catch two feeders! Has anyone had this experience before?

They are omnivores. I feed mine frozen cubes that has shrimp, bloodworms and other meats. I also feed chichlid gold and massivoure for the catfish, which the koi also eat. I caught a koi fishing using a worm.

They will eat anything if they are hungry. I've seen them chase do feeder fish before.

We learned not to keep koi with the smaller feeders at the pet store I work at, they definitely are opportunistic feeders.

Makes sense, I thought they were vegetarian. After the feeders yesterday, today I've noticed he's getting more aggressive, trying to bite my other fishes tail. Is this normal also?

I have large koi that bullies my Armatus. They go as far as trying to snatch his smelt/sardine from his grasps. The armatus keeps turning to avoid losing his food. My koi will to after smelt, nightcrawlers, anything that hits the water
