My mom gave me this for my plants. I'm wondering if I could use it for my VFT. ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1381681009.944758.jpg

I've been trying a few different methods to see what works best

No on the MircleGrow. It would quickly kill you VFT.

The planting was going to use it on is starting to die and like I said I want to try different methods. On the container it says if the plant stops eating use very diluted fertilizer

Your best bet is just to not fertilize at all; it usually does more harm than good. I seriously doubt this is your problem. How long have you had the plant? How much water do you give it? What type of media is it planted in? They grow in bogs with almost no free nutrition in the soil. That is why the evolved to be carnivorous. I grow a variety of carnivorous plants and they are not as difficult as some people act. You just have to mimic their natural environment fairly closely.

Do you feed it insects? if so, stop. The trap can only close a certain number of times.

Well to be honest I think it's the lack of humidity. It's planted in peat moss and washed play sand mixed together. I give it distillers water every few days. I have a bowl under the plant pot so I fill it 1/4-1/2 way every few days.

No I don't hand feed it. I leave a fruit to rot by the plant to bring fruit flys. But I'm not sure if that's really working
