4 dollers a week isnt bad at all. i get my stuff wholesale. normally people pay 7-8 dollers for a half pound of krill. i pay 6 dollers for a full pound but i also have alot more fish to feed then you so id say between krill bloodworms cichlid sticks average 10 dollers a week. rough guess. i really dont know

I try to buy market shrimp when it's buy one get one free at around $8 for two bags (I only go through one bag a week). I buy Hikari BioGold at Petsmart for $8.49 (I make them match their website price). I buy Hikari Cichlid Gold for $9 a bag because it's available in big pellets for the big boys. I also get a tin of nightcrawlers every couple of weeks at $3.
That adds up to right around $25 a week. Now that I've added it all up, it sure sounds like a lot. And I thought I was saving money, lol.
I have 13 RBPs and I only go through like 2$ a week. Trust me they get feed ALOT 4 times a day with a mix of cichlid sticks and krill ( a buy 16oz sticks and 4 oz. krill) and they get live on the weekend and I have enough food that I have not bought ANYTHING in well over a month
4 lb bag-tilapia fillets(individually wrapp'd) = $5.00 x 2 = $ 10.00
canadian x-large nite crawlers = 3.50 x 4 = $ 14.00
FD dried shrimp in a can = $ 13.00
Hikari pellets = $ 7.00
Giant mealworms = $ 3.00 x 2 = $ 6.00
3 lb bulk market shrimp = $ 12.00
roughly around $ 60.00 a month sometimes less but not more.
its cheaper than feeding 2 rotts.

2 x Barramundi eating primarily frozen whitebait (silverside) easily go through 2 x $5.00 bags a week.
I get a bag of frozen market shrimp for my P ort Jackson and Bamboo sharksthat lasts almost a month,costing six to eight bux depending on the bag size.When that runs out I get a four pound box of frozen squid for about five bux.Most of my freshwater fish are fed pellets and flakes that I stock up on with three bux worth of feeders each week,one store gets in mollys as feeders from time to time.
