Hello, I am looming to turn my 50 gal corner tank into a planted tank. I have not kept plants other than bamboo. I am looking for a good plant to carpet the bottom of the tank because I love the look of a tank just coated at the bottom by some sort of 'aqua grass'

i would try micro sword or dwarf sagittaria the sagittaria is probably a better beginners plant but the micro sword look a little more like traditional grass

Do you guys know if PetSmart of pet supplies plus carries these? I just got gift cards for my birthday for there haha

Yes they carry the ones in the small plastic bag, its only a handful clump but it grows fast and only 8.99$ they may have the ones in tubes too.

Go with Dwarf Sag if you want a easier plant to start with. If you got good lighting, Co2, and nutes... I would go for some dwarf hairgrass or microsword. I personally like groundcover plants like Dwarf baby tears, glosso, marsilea, etc...
