Carpet Ray "Castexi"?

Who here has ever kept one of these? Does anyone have any idea where to get one and about how much do they would cost?

All castexi or otorango get very large and unless you have something in the range of
96x48x30 they will easily outgrow the tank. Very aggressive eaters also

any of the vendors who sell rays can get one... pending on the type of otorongo they are 200+ and as mike said get huge

they get way to big for the common person,wouldnt suggest them unless ur experienced and have a hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tank or pond

mike had some over 36" disk if i remember correctly.....

Over 36" disk and easily 48-50" with tail. Not a good ray to keep unless you have a tank or pond with a huge foot print. When you and sticky come down in June I will take you guys over to see a few of our breeders there monsters.

Aqualog says castexi are a 1 on difficulty, but the carpet variant says it is a 4, does anyone know why? Do castexi keep there markings and coloration when they get large? Mike, when are you going to post pics of your big ones?
