I know I know a lot of you hat them but I am getting asked a lot more questions on them so some facts about the carp seen thats now staring to get to a few of you.

One of the most fames USA fishing venues for Europeans id the St. Lawrence River system in up state New York.
One of the larges carp lakes is Lake Ontario its apparently 193 miles by 53 (you do go large out there

You have some big fish out there to Many Huge fish are bow fished but theses are Buffalo Carp (lcitiobus cypinellus) a barbles mud sucker not a king carp that we fish for. There is at the moment no official State Record I did have a picture of an 84lb mirror (that a serious record breaking fish) for Minnesota but this fish is now dead as was Bow fished

Big money In March 2006 Al St Cyr pocket $250,000 for breaking the state record during the Texas Carp Challenge he landed a 43lb Common that 1 lb heaver than the biggest carp I have ever caught and it was a common (in Europe not as common as Mirrors)
