I put the spinach in for the silver dollars, but the carpintis decided he liked it too, and chased them away while he ate it.
 
There is a pike in the tank too, which unsurprisingly didn't want anything to do with the spinach.

yeah man. It's like it was dead even before it hit the water.
 
Didn't know they liked it. I'll have to try it.
 
Is feeding it raw fine, or should I blanch it?

I read in another thread about one eating apple.

He has also finally decided that pellets are good - he was just eating flakes, now he'll eat shrimp and cichlid pellets. :)
