I have a really nice 6 inch male Chariel Carpintis who resides by himself in my 180 gallon tank. I might be purchasing a gorgeous F1 6 inch female Red Devil to make his new tank mate. She is currently trying to breed with other cichlids she is housed with. They will have a 180 gallon tank to themselves. Im sure I have some fellow MFK members out there that have done this cross in the past. If you have successfully done this cross do you have any advice for me? Maybe some pictures of the parents and offspring? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

there is a hybrid forum,i would re-post there.i had a male texas-cyano that crossed with my female jag when they were tankmates.i grew some out,his pic is my avatar

Never done this but be careful the devil may kill your texas. You would I assume end up with red texas fry. No idea what kind of color you will get from fry but give it a shot and if you want to invest some time and tanks may get some real nice tr's.
