Would it hurt to put a 6 inch bluegill with some CA cichlids like a BB and a con? I got a couple BG from my pond and just wondering if it's a bad idea. Fish will not go back into the wild after it's been in the tank.

Depends on the size of the cons and BB...

Should work assuming their all roughly the same size. Bluegill have a mild aggressive temperament.

Yeah the BB is about 5 inches and the con is a scrappy little youngin about 1.5" who definately can hold her own.

The Bluegill is just about 6 inch but fat as hell. Also got a green sunfish that is nicer than the Bluegill so I think I'll keep the sunfish. All the same sizes.

They might eat the con. Other than that...QT them first.

Definatly not eating the con I can tell you that. She is hell in a little body when it comes to defending what shes got. Especially when she lays. She can't kill but will be able to hold her own IMO.

yea they should do good Ron will look like a green sev
will look better when you get some vieja's off me tommorow ! haha
