I bought this for my 30 gallon brackish tank this week, working great and all so far, but its constantly making a "grinding" type noise and then shooting millions of little bubbles out. I know it's normal for canister filters to have air bubbles for the first few days, but we are at a week now. Any suggestions how to fix this?

Check your hoses for leaks. USUALLY, air will have purged after a week. You may have air coming in somewhere. You can also try picking the canister up and tilting it side to side while it's running. That may help air out if it's stuck somewhere.
