Cascade Canister 1500

My O's and Tinfoils are starting to get big so I'm looking to upgrade my filtration.

In a couple of weeks I will probably be getting a Cascade Canister 1500. Have any of you owned this filter before? If so how well does it clean? And what is the dfficulty level of the maintanence of it?

i have one, and its pretty easy to maintain.

works great. it'll take a little time to get good enough that you dont spill when cleaning it out. my suggestion is to use it with a biowheel HOB because the canister filters aren't too good with biofiltration. i use mine for mech filtration and occasionally chemical filtration is added.

I'm going to leave my 2 Cascade 300 Filters on the tank along with the Cascade Canister 1500 so I'll be cover for biofilter wise

Does the 1500 give a good water flow, something like a power jet?

buddy in MI has one and he really likes it

I owned a Cascade 1500 I thought it was OK. I sold it to my buddy and picked up a FX5.
