Cleaning out my Cascade canister, noticed the O-ring had a small crack in it. (The O-ring just above the impeller, not the big one that seals the top to the rest of the canister) When I tried to reattach that piece, the one above the impeller, the O-ring kept slipping up during the turn. After spending the better part of an hour applying Vaseline and trying to gently keep it even with a plastic poker, I finally got everything back in place without the ring popping out.

When the next cleaning comes around, I've estimated the O-ring has between a 103%-120% chance of flat out breaking. Even now i'm sure its not sealing properly. Where can I get a new one ASAP....as in like tomorrow. and does anyone know if I got an O-ring at Home Depot that is the exact same dimension could I use that instead of the actual Cascade brand one, which is likely a big ripoff?

Thank you for listening to my rant, I'd appreciate anyone's suggestions.

Shouldn't be a problem using an O-Ring from Home Dept; as long as the radius/width are the same as the ring you plan to replace.
