cascade filters

are any of the cascade canister filters good?
From the website i looked at they have good ratings and they are cheap
anyone have any experience with them?
im looking to get the biggest model.

i got the 1500 for 200g. i put it on my 150g. it works ok, not real impressed but it does the job. its more for mechanical filtration. i use 2 350gph biowheels for biological filtration. i wouldnt use it alone.

I have one sucking water up out of my sump and filled it with chemipure... they are decent cheap pos filters

I had the 1500 its OK. Your better off with a FX5.

so what does the 1500 most compare to
like what other canister filter

I have 3 1500's on my 240 with a large catfish and two large pacu with one water change weekly they do a good job I have had them for 3 years consistantly with one problem the quarter turn where it screws on weakend and broke a $10 fix. I bought my first fx5 two days later it broke the impeller was not seated properly awaiting the new one to arrive. If you use the 1500 I would not recommend it on a tank larger than a 100gallon by itself.
