Cascade penn canister not working

Hello everyone. just wondering if anyone had this problem I'm having and hope fully is repairable. The canister was working fine until I cleaned it. Now it's turning on and moving the water for about 20 seconds and then shuts off. it seems like it is hot on top of the canister. I cleaned it againbut no luck. Anyone?

How old is it? My 1000 is still working like a champ, never had a problem with it. maybe the wiring got wet or something. does it just shut off or stop pumping water back?

I've had this canister for 3 years now. I can fell the motor running fire a little bit but then out shuts off after 2-3 minuteout it comes back on.

does it only do it after you hook it back up after cleaning?

I left it plugged in Last night and notice this morning that the canister was running. 5 minutes later it turned off thats an improvement from 20 seconds

had mine for 6 years still running like a champ... seems to be lines and filter water level are not primed fully...
