I can get a jag(castexi white seam). She is 15-16 inches, and i have some horny motoro males, would this work out? Is a 16 inch castexi female probably ready for the jobb in that case? :naughty:

Yes, it is possible, she is at about the right size... maybe needs to get a little bigger but it could work

I would agree she might need to grow some more, I have a castexi female around 14" and so far noones shown any interest in her.

Also depends on your motoro males, i have a pair of males who won't breed with anything I put in with them except motoros, but they always have motoro females around so I dont know if they would mate outside there species if that option was taken away.

I had a sp peru in with them, she was not mature, but hell she had to take alot of beating.. My males are 10 inch +- and very mature, i think they would jump on anything even me if i had a puss :p I know this castexi has killed a motoro couple before, and i dont have a very big tank before in some months, so im kinda, i dunno..She would go with 2x motoro male and 1x motoro female (8inch)

Is there anyone out there that have had pups motoro\castexi? What would they look like.

Not I, Im a solid believer in keeping same blood lines, and not hybridizing... yes, even tho i have a hybrid, but i wont breed a female with him tho.

The only problem is castexi/jags are pretty aggressive and dominant rays. I doubt your male motoros will be fiesty enough to breed with her. DB junkie had the female I have now in his pond and she pretty much ran over his marbles.

Thats what i suspected, and she has already killed 3 motors, not wurth the risk, even tho they look good:) and i kinda agree on the hybriding, even tho its pretty common on here.

i am going to say that is not a good idea to breed them on purpose. there are too many un-ided reays as it is without adding hybrids to the mix
