Just given my first cichlid tank. Before moving to Michigan I kept tropicals til the unfortunate day my cat sat on the heating element turning it up to 100 and "cooking" his prey. Thru a friend I've gotten started again and am looking forward to all the advice this forum can provide. New cat...but this time a submerged heating element, so he will have to try harder.
