Gulper cat fish how fast will they grow from 3" in a 90gallon do they have a fast growth rate like a redtail cat

I'm not a gulper keeper but from what I've read they don't grow fast, perhaps from 3" to 5"-6" (?) in the first year and slowing down from there as they usually do not exceed ~8"-10" total length.
