Hey guys, I am in the midst of planning out a 125g tank. The tank is going to be planted and I really am not going to have a large bioload in it. It's going to have a pair of pike cichlids (not sure on the species yet), a jaguar cichlid, and a cat and that's probably it. What kind of cat would y'all reccomend? I'd like it to be a South American cat (keep the the whole SA biotope.) I haven't been in the freshwater scene for a while (been doing only salt for the last 10 years or so) and I just have the freshwater itch again. Thanks for the help.

OK well if your looking for a catFISH... then I'd have to say Lima Shovelnose?

i would go with a 11000g tank and a persian
now that will look coool:p :p :p

A Colombian Shark Catfish (Hexanematichthys seemanni) gets to be a foot so it wouldn't outgrow your 125. They are Central American but I guess they've been found all over. They have great personalities too

I reckon some kind of Pimelodus, perhaps P. ornatus or P. blochii. Both of these stay under 12'' so they wouldn't outgrow a 125.
