Cat ID help please

Hi all,
I usually am hanging out in the stingray forum, but thought what the heck. I'll see if anyone can ID my goofy catfish. I got this guy 4 years ago or so from Petsmart. " Maam, this here catfish will only get to 6" I guarantee it!.." Uh huh didn't believe it then and sure don't now. He's got to be 12" if not more.
Well if anyone can give me a clue on his heritage that would be great.

When you said goofy, did you meant the eyes?

size 12 inches....yours is fully grown or there abouts.Choose tank mates carefully,not aggressive but will consume fishes it can fit in its mouth.

Hey all,
Thanks for your replies.
"goofy" is how he acts and yes his big ol' eyeballs.
He's in a tank full of fish that love to eat whatever gets in their mouth, so needless to say they are all big fish.
Boy he loves earthworms though.
