I don't know who else to ask, so I'll ask you guys. I had a box of substrate in my basement near our cat's litter box and I think the cat was peeing in it because there is a rank smell of cat pee and a puddle coming out from under the box. This was on painted concrete. I sprayed Clorox Clean-Up on it and rinsed it into the drain and let the water run for awhile but it still reeks. Now that I've written a novel about it, here's my question....

Does cat pee smell get into concrete? Do I need that enzyme stuff to get the smell off of concrete?

kill the cat

i would def try something with the enzymes. petland makes a stain and odor remover that kicks ass!

Killing the cat might solve future problems but I fail to see how that will help with the current situation.

I'm pretty sure he was just kidding :D , I chuckeled, anyway the stuff we got from petland seems to work pretty good, can't rmember what its called ,if I'm not mistaken some other stuff called Odo-ban worked too.

i'm with rayman on this one.
i heard if you pee on it, your enzymes will take out the catpiss smell, then it'll just smell like your bed:naughty:

Was he? Really? Thanks for pointing that out.:clap

Psssst....I knew he was kidding.:grinyes: I still don't understand how it would solve the current problem.

Use Odor Eaters carpet spray, it has an enzyme that will break down the pee...spray it on the cat too, maybe it will break down the cat too.
