Hey there guys,

I just recently got back into the hobby we all seem to enjoy and as this is my first post, I first wanted to say Hi. I also ran into a bit of a snag last night, when I realized that one of my wife's cats apparently bit a small hole in the return tube of my Eheim 405!!!! Does anyone here have any recomendations on how to cat proof these tubes?? Thanks in advance

J

Use a garden hose...(I'll let your mind wonder for a few seconds...cat + hose Hhmmm)

Measure a 2 piece of hose as long as the Eheim 's hoses and split them lengthwise, open them up and place around the filter hoses to act as covers.

You could dust the hoses with some Borax too.

Slip-on electrical conduit. They make a flexible corrugated plastic conduit for wiring that is split down the sides, it would be really easy to put on without taking everything apart.
